November 22, 2008 am
It's 8:35 am. Regan and I are getting ready to leave from staying at Rick's. Once again my thanks to him for letting me camp out for a few days. I hope I wasn't too much trouble. Regan and I are company home for a day today. I am actually coming back to attempt to play in an alumni game at Central tonight. Probably a dumb decision, but I will give it a go. Mary will have a small break today on her rehab. The weekends are not as busy, they let the patients rest and visit on the weekend. Mary's Mom and Dad are staying with her today. I know they are doing this partly for me to get away for a day, and I thank them very much. I feel a little guilty leaving Mary today. I know I shouldn't, but I do. I am coming back early on Sunday morning. Hopefully my body will not be too sore. I know Mary loves being with her parents, and that makes leaving today a little easier. I don't know what time we will write tonight. I will see how everything plays out. Thank you all for you thoughts and prayers.

Scott, good for you! Everyone is constantly encouraging Mary to get
better and we all know that she needs plenty of rest to get better but so do you. Getting away for a bit will do you good and with Aunt Dar and Uncle Morse there to be with her, she is in awesome hands.
Mary will be glad to know that you are taking a little time for yourself (because I hear you are being so annoying to her, ha ha)
Ragan,
another excellent blog. Thanks for stepping in for your dad and giving him a rest. I can just
hear your voice and expression
when I am reading.
Cousin Mary, 19 days have passed and you are a day closer to a great recovery. So many people at
work are still asking how you are
doing, you probably never knew how many lives you have touched, I have met people at work that I never even knew but now I am glad I do. I cannot wait to see you again, I am sure that I will be amazed at your progress. I am getting excited to make that trip again.
Love,
Cousin Gail
Mary,
It is 7:30p.m. Saturday night. I was sitting here thinking about you and thinking about so many wonderful times we have shared. All of our girls nights out, our shopping trips to St. Louis, our funny inside jokes, our many, many lunch breaks to Taco Bell, our cat stories(how you cried with me when I told you that I had to get rid of mine) Ritas' scratch and sniff stickers that she brought to my house the night you guys came to my house in Taylor!!! (sorry Rita...ha!ha!) I think we have even shared some tears. You are such an amazing friend......wife, and Mother. I know you can feel all the love and prayers that we are sending your way. Keep up all of the good work and you will be good to go in no time!! I miss you and I love you bunches! I hope to see you real soon.
Your friend
Melodie Brigman
Scott, Mary, Alex, and Regan,
We are so lucky to be surrounded by such a wonderfuly family. Not to mention the wonderful friend circle that surrounds you. I am very happy you are taking a "mini"-break Scott. You are amazing.
Love,
Jill (Mary's favorite cousin!!!!)
Hey Cousins! This is your FAVORITE cousin Anne here!
Gail doesn't even know how to spell REGAN.....IT'S R-E-G-A-N!!!
Ya see, people who really are favorites know ones spelling of cousins names:)
I'm glad to hear all the great up-dates! Scott I hope your game went good for you & got your mind on something different for a while.
I think Alex needs to take a turn at this blog. It's like reading a book.....can't wait to see what happens next!
Scott, you sure are testifying a lot to me & I hope to many others who take there wedding vows....I can't help but think of "for better for worse, through sickness & in health" Too many people are in it for the better & for the good health. It's nice to see couples like you & cousin Mary living through your wedding vows to each other & to God. I want to thank you personally for that!
Love,
FAVORITE Cousin Anne:)
