November 11, 2008 am

It is 7:o8 am. Mary had a night that was filled with descent rest and also some discomfort. My parents and Mary's parents were so wonderful last night. They all took turns staying by Mary's side throught the whole night. I was with her until around 11:00pm, but then they all took over. I actually got pretty much a full nights sleep. It is a huge help that they are here. I haven't got to see Mary yet this morning, as I slept up until the 6:00 non-visiting hours. I am not sure what the day will bring today, and really not sure what tests are sheduled. I am sure the Dr. Chicoinne (her surgeon) will be around today to check on Mary. I'll know more then. I will be able to write more on any kind of progress later today. So until then, pray for a good day. Thank you all for your wonderful comments to Mary. I know that when she gets well enough to read this, she will love to know just how many people are going through this with her. Thanks.

Hey Scott! sounds like Mary is coming along just fine. Hearing how she is expressing her needs is very encouraging. It will be a good day! The power of prayer is amazing, and so is all the support she has by you and both of your families. Hang in there, she is getting better. God Bless..

Scott,
My name is Sharolyn and I have known Mary since she started at Blue Cross. It is so nice to be able to hear about Mary's progress. I was in a meeting on October when the Quincy Telecommuters were getting prepared to start the work at home. Mary was so excited and said her biggest decision would be which slippers to put on in the morning. I continue to pray every day for her and your family. I had my prayer group at Blessed Sacrament pray for her, also. God bless and keep you family during this very har time. Sharolyn

Our thoughts are with Mary and her family. I have know Mary and her family since QND and currently work with her at BCBS. She was excited to start the stay at home work program. She had such a happy smile on her face when she left that Friday Oct 31st, I remember giving her a big wave that day. Everyone at work is thinking about her and praying for her. My son is a senior at QND and he said she is being included in their prayers too. Stay strong there are a lot of people thinking positive thoughts. Laura Peterson

Dear Scott & Family--
Wonderful to hear Mary's progress! She's a strong beautiful woman and with you and your families support she will get through all of this. Take care of yourself-- she'll need you in the weeks to come.
You are in our prayers daily as are your children who are away at college. God will give you the strength you need and friends and family will be by your side unconditionally. Stay strong and keep the faith!
God bless---Jill and Jeff Burgess
