December 11th, 2008 pm
It is 8:13 pm. I am writing this installment for the last time from Rick Cookson's place. Again my thanks for the use of his apartment. Also, again I thank Elaine Greiner for the use of her house a couple of weeks ago. It has a been a wonderful thing to have a place to go. Well, tomorrow is the day! I will be taking Mary home with me to be with us again. She can't wait to get there, and obviously we are thrilled to have her back. We will be leaving the facility around noon or so. Mary has already requested that we stop at Target on the way back. She's back. Just so you know, I am going to continue writing this blog until we are at the finish line of Mary's road. I am going to try to have Mary start writing some of the entries herself. She is having some trouble right now on her typing, mainly because of finger dexterity. It is coming back though. That is Mary's next big motivation. She wants to be back to her job very badly. I know she will get there. She has shown us that there is always hope. I know that she will love to see everyone soon. It will be a beautiful sight to see her walking in the house tomorrow. Also, thanks to Doug for installing the new hand rails in our home. It means a lot Doug, thanks. Please keep Mary in your prayers. Thanks to all.

So good to hear that you have all made it to this point. We have all been so amazed to watch all of you rise to meet a terrifying challenge. I know that all of us have been so thankful to watch Mary's recovery and rehab but I must say that Scott, Alex, Regan and so many people on both sides of this family have shown so much resolve, patience and just plain toughness that I'll never look at a lot of people the same ever again. Congratulations Mary, welcome home, Godspeed in your continued recovery. To the rest of the Berryman's, take a deep breath and savor this achievement.
We'll see you all soon, Morey.
Welcome Home, Mary!!!
